POI  BEGINNERS - Explanation

Poi is an art unlike any other.  Their original purpose was to prepare the Maori people for hand to hand combat.  Poi have evolved to become a mesmerizing performing art, performers spin fire as well as glow poi.  This is a basic poi class, we will talk about plains, learn weaves, butterflies and variations on these moves.  We will NOT be lighting fire inside.
